Amy G. Bearden is a home-grown country girl raised in the small west Texas town of Roaring Springs. She was born in Lubbock, TX and adopted by her loving parents, Judy, and Darrell Woolsey. As a modern-day illustration of 1 Samuel 1:27-28 “for this child we have prayed”, Amy was the answered prayer to her adoptive parents. From the moment she grew in their hearts, Amy was given a wonderful childhood, along with two protective and somewhat ornery brothers. Amy is a wife, mother, and dog lover. She loves nature, being outdoors and the simple things life has to offer. She is an aspiring self-publishing author, editor, a nature photographer and a public speaker. She is the recipient of the Sister of the Year Award in 2022 and 2023 at the When Sisters Unite Conference in Atlanta, GA. Amy’s calling on her life has always been to show Jesus, in every situation and circumstance, to be the hands and feet of Him.  Amy wants others to know that “if we take time out of our busy lives each day to read His word and seek His face, being intentional and consistent, that He can and will take the broken pieces of our soul and transform them into a beautiful masterpiece. If he can change a sinner like me, he can do the same for you.”
